Reading your sales dashboard

Understand revenue, orders, channel mix, and top products on your Oshop247 dashboard and reports.

Data turns gut feeling into decisions โ€” which products to restock, whether Instagram ads pay off, and if Saturday staffing is enough. Oshop247 surfaces key metrics on your dashboard and in dedicated reports.

Admin dashboard overview

When you log in, the Dashboard shows at-a-glance metrics, typically including:

  • Revenue โ€” gross sales for the selected period
  • Order count โ€” number of completed orders
  • Average order value โ€” revenue divided by orders
  • Recent orders โ€” quick access to fulfilment

Use the date picker to compare today vs yesterday or this week vs last week.

Online vs POS channel split

Your dashboard and reports distinguish storefront orders from POS sales. Use this to answer:

  • Should we hire another cashier or invest in Instagram ads?
  • Are weekend online orders worth extending delivery hours?
  • Is the physical shop still driving most revenue?

Businesses often discover one channel growing faster than expected after going omnichannel.

Top products and slow movers

Identify bestsellers for restock priority and slow SKUs tying up cash. Export CSV for deeper pivot tables in Excel if your plan supports exports.

Pair product reports with inventory alerts โ€” high sales + low stock = urgent reorder.

Reports library

Open Reports & Analytics in the sidebar for dedicated views such as:

  • Sales by period
  • Product performance
  • Staff / POS performance (where enabled)
  • Inventory valuation
  • Tax summaries for accounting handoff

Advanced reports may require higher plans โ€” check Billing if a report is locked.

Using data in weekly rhythm

Successful merchants adopt a simple cadence:

  • Daily โ€” glance at dashboard for order spikes or zero-sales days
  • Weekly โ€” review top products and marketing correlation
  • Monthly โ€” export for accountant, compare to prior month

Limitations to understand

  • Reports reflect recorded orders โ€” cash sales only count if entered through POS
  • Cancelled and refunded orders affect net revenue depending on report type
  • Timezone follows store settings โ€” align with your accounting calendar
One number to watch early: average order value. Raising AOV with bundles often beats chasing new customers alone.
