How does referral tracking work?
You'll get a unique referral code and link (eg. oshop247.com/?ref=YOURCODE). When someone clicks your link, we store a 30-day tracking cookie on their browser. If they sign up and pay within 30 days of clicking, you get the commission.
What happens if someone clicks my link but signs up later?
The tracking cookie lasts 30 days. As long as they complete their signup and make their first payment within 30 days of clicking your link, the conversion is credited to you.
What if a referral cancels their subscription?
If they cancel, their referral becomes inactive and you stop earning their monthly commission. If they cancel within the 30-day fraud hold period, the commission is also reversed. Commissions from your other active referrals are completely unaffected.
Can I refer businesses I personally work with?
Yes — as long as you're not the business owner yourself. You cannot refer yourself. There are no restrictions on referring businesses you have a relationship with.
How do I know my referrals are being tracked?
Your affiliate dashboard shows every click, every signup, and every commission in real-time. You'll also receive email notifications when a new business signs up with your link and when they make their first payment.
When exactly do rates change?
The higher rate (15% for Starter, Growth, and Pro) applies for the first 12 monthly payments from each referral. Month 13 onwards, the rate drops to 8%. Month 25 onwards, it settles at 3%. Each referral has its own independent countdown.
Can I promote Oshop247 in my paid ads?
You can run paid promotions, but you must not bid on Oshop247 branded keywords on Google/Meta (eg. "Oshop247", "oshop247.com"). Non-branded keyword advertising is allowed. Contact us if you're unsure about a specific campaign.
