Settings & Setup

Configuring store settings and branding

Set logo, colours, contact details, shipping, notifications, and legal pages so your store looks trustworthy.

Settings is where your store identity and operational rules live. Oshop247 uses tabbed settings โ€” each section saves independently, so you can configure payments without touching shipping.

Open Settings from the admin sidebar.

General โ€” store identity

Under the General tab, configure:

  • Store name and tagline โ€” shown on storefront and emails
  • Logo and favicon โ€” upload PNG/WebP; favicon appears in browser tabs
  • Brand colour โ€” accents buttons and links on default theme
  • Contact email and phone โ€” used on receipts and contact page
  • Physical address โ€” optional but builds trust
  • Timezone and locale โ€” affects order timestamps
  • Maintenance mode โ€” temporarily hide storefront during major updates

Payments tab

Connect Paystack, Flutterwave, and/or Stripe (international stores). Enable bank transfer and cash on delivery as needed. Use built-in test buttons to validate keys.

Shipping tab

Define where you deliver and how much you charge:

  • Select shipping countries (region-based by default)
  • Set local, state-wide, and nationwide fees within Nigeria
  • Configure international delivery fee for abroad orders
  • Enable standard, express, and pickup methods
  • Set free delivery threshold if offered

Accurate shipping settings reduce checkout abandonment and customer arguments after payment.

Inventory tab

On multi-branch plans, choose how online orders deduct stock:

  • Central warehouse only
  • Single fulfillment branch
  • Combined stock across branches

Notifications tab

Control admin alerts for new orders, low stock, and customer email toggles for order confirmed/shipped messages.

Receipt tab

Customise POS and receipt headers/footers, business name on printed receipts, and logo display.

SEO tab

Set default meta title/description for search engines and optional Google Analytics / Facebook Pixel IDs for marketing tracking.

Email / SMTP tab

By default, platform mail may send transactional emails. Configure custom SMTP (Mailgun, SES, etc.) if you want emails from your domain.

Legal and CMS pages

Edit privacy policy, terms, and content pages from CMS in admin (requires manage cms permission). Payment providers and NDPR compliance expect a published privacy policy before you scale ad spend.

Custom domain (optional)

Connect your own domain (e.g. shop.yourbrand.com) from domain settings on eligible plans. DNS verification may take up to 48 hours.

Customers decide trust in seconds. Logo, contact info, and clear policies matter as much as product photos.
